False negative results, due to insufficient sampling with too little cell material, are excluded by this test. The detection of a human gene that occurs universally in cells in ViroQ SARS-CoV-2 tests checks whether sufficient cell material is available for valid results.

By the way: With our kit you remain independent from dedicated providers – ViroQ SARS-CoV-2 works with common RNA-Isolation kits and common real time cyclers. The test results are available in only 90 minutes.

We have also thought about the logistics costs: To keep them as low as possible, the ViroQ SARS-CoV-2 Test Kits can be shipped uncooled. A control temperature of – 20 degrees Celsius is only necessary during storage.

Fast One-Step Real-time PCR

The ViroQ SARS-CoV-2 Kit is designed for specific detection of viral RNA Gene E and RdRP of SARS-CoV-2 in respiratory samples. In our new test kit the RNA is converted from SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) to cDNA in a one-step PCR procedure. This cDNA is then amplified in the same real time PCR protocol.

The kit consists of the following components:

1. tube	Mastermix: transcription + amplification
2. tube	Reconstitution buffer
3. tube	Primer-Probe Mixture: Colour 1: Virus gene 1 (FAM) Colour 2: Virus gene 2 (HEX) Colour 3: Cell control (CFR610) (housekeeping gene)
4. tube	Positive Control (SARS-CoV-2 Positive Control)

Simple Workflow

Ready-to-use standard reagents and a one-step PCR run provide fast results. The ViroQ SARS-CoV-2 test also contains a control of a human universally expressed gene, which is used to check whether there is enough cell material in the sample to give meaningful results.
